Our Model of Care

Culture at the foundation of care

Embedding Cultural, Environmental and Spiritual Wellbeing as the foundation platform for the Torres Health Services and Model of Care, would ensure that all programs and services focused on enabling protective factors such as connection to land and ancestry, enduring kinship bonds within family and community, and reflect the unique spirituality and cultural identity that is central to being Torres Strait Islander.
